Although After the Tragedy's members are only between the ages of 17 and 23, the Cabot, Arkansas quintet has set up do-it-yourself tours all across the Midwest, spreading their gospel of incredibly melodic hooks and passionate indie rock. Forming in August 2003, singer Joel, bassist Ron, drummer Kody and guitarists Jon and James independently recorded and released their full-length debut entitled The Beautiful Brand New in April of 2005.by mtv.com
