Cascada

German-born British singer Cascada, a.k.a. Natalie Horler, inherited her love of music from her jazz musician father. Influenced by artists like Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, Boyz II Men and genres such as gospel, soul and jazz, Cascada began singing and dancing at an early age. At age 18, she started doing studio work and recorded several tracks for different DJs. Among those recordings was her first single "Miracle," which was released in Germany in March 2004. Its success consequently grabbed the attention of the American company, Robbins Entertainment. In November of that same year, a maxi-single of the song was released in America.
Through her studio work, she met Manuel Reuter (DJ Manian) and Yann (Yanou). Together, they did several songs, including her hit single "Everytime We Touch" from the debut album of the same name, released Stateside in February 2006. With its aggressive and energetic dance-pop beat, "Everytime We Touch" stands out from its top 40 counterparts with Cascada's dramatic and passionate vocals alongside the adept musical backing of producers DJ Manian and Yanou. The full album features 14 diverse cuts, including covers of Savage Garden's "Truly Madly Deeply" and Kim Wilde's new wave nugget "Kids in America." Cascada continues to tour in America, Austria, Ireland and Germany.
